(#18) Recording Studios used in Toronto: Thunder Sound

Now out of business, I couldn't even find the building that used to house the place.

Although the studio was originally at 29 Davenport Rd., today the numbers on the street seemed to jump from 25 to 45... I'm thinking some redevelopment was done as there's now a fairly new-looking large church where 29 Davenport should be.

While still in business, Thunder Sound was the place where High Winds White Sky, Sunwheel Dance, Night Vision, and Salt, Sun and Time were recorded.

This page is part of The Cockburn Project, a unique website that exists to document the work of Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Bruce Cockburn. The Project archives self-commentary by Cockburn on his songs and music, and supplements this core part of the website with news, tour dates, and other current information.
