SETLIST

COMMENTS/FURTHER INFORMATION

Submitted to the Project by Phil Croker, who reports:

The gig was notable for the inclusion of Wise Users, which I'd not heard performed before. He played Dobro for most of the gig, playfully blinding the audience by bouncing the set lights off it and into our eyes, [...] I wish I could remember exactly what he played, but it was 5 years ago! It certainly included Wondering Where The Lions Are, which Bruce said he had 'rediscovered' after getting tired of playing it for so many years. Sadly, as the audience were mostly just the curious, and not die-hard Bruceheads, plus the fact that Irish will often just sit and listen quietly if they're unfamiliar with the music, meant that the choruses were mostly Bruce on his own, with a few of us joining in. [The gig was] small and intimate but a wonderful evening, and nice to be able to get so close to the 'big feller' himself.
