ALBUMS:
-- Cockburn Project Album Sales (1 October 1999 - 12 July 2000) --

In Association with Amazon.com 12 July 2000 -- One of the most interesting features of the Project's association with Amazon.com is the ability to track album sales. Seeing which albums other people are buying is a useful tool if you are thinking of making some purchases yourself. See also the recommended albums poll from Spring 1999. All albums except "Resume" and "Rumours Of Glory" are available in the Project's Online store.

It would be interesting to compare these sales figures (for an approximate 9-month period) with sales of Cockburn albums at a high street record store. One of the theories is that the Project sells about as many Cockburn albums as a small record store, and it would be interesting to find out how accurate or not that is. If you know, drop us a line.

* Statistics only go back to 1 October 1999. In the period around the release of Breakfast In New Orleans, Dinner In Timbuktu (14 September 1999), as there were at least another 20 copies of this album sold. I actually remember the total being something like 60, even at that point, so the total number of Breakfast sales through this site has probably been around 80. Unfortunately, Amazon did not archive the 3rd Quarter of 1999 and I did not download it.

** The Charity Of Night also experienced significantly higher sales in the previous periods when it was still 'the latest album'.

*** Around 5% of sales goes to the Project, around $150 for the above! :-)
